We have all been there, trying to copy a large amount of data from one spot to another only to get an error halfway through and have the whole operation canceled. This is not only aggravating, but a waste of valuable time. I really had hoped that Microsoft would have fixed this, but upgrade after upgrade they never address this problem. Have no fear I have found a solution and it’s free!! Well, maybe not free, but it has a fully working trial version and seeing as I only need this every once in awhile, it’s perfect. It’s called Beyond Compare and you can download it HERE Not only can you copy large amounts of data without it stopping the complete operation on an error, but you can compare two sets of data and sync them. With Beyond Compare you can open both folders in a side by side view and automatically sync data from one side to the other (without the errors!). To learn more about the details and advanced features please see the wiki review below:
Beyond Compare is a file comparison utility. Aside from simple comparison of files, the program is capable of doing side-by-side comparison of directories, FTP directories, and archives.[1] In an April 2009 review, Beyond Compare was awarded four out of five stars by CNET. The reviewers initially found the user interface to be “a little overwhelming”, but “quickly got the hang of it”, after using the program for a little while.[2] PC World writer Michael Desmond, included the program in a 2005 list of utilities for a “Trouble-Free PC”.[3] He highlighted the program’s “watch list” feature for particular acclaim.[3] Beyond Compare was featured in the March 2005 issue of the Windows IT Pro magazine, in the “What’s Hot” section.[4]
Scott Mitchell, writing for MSDN Magazine, identified the program’s comparison rules as its most powerful feature.[5] The customizable rules control which differences between two files should be flagged as such. A set of predefined rules are included for the comparison of common file types, such as C++ source code, XML, and HTML files.

So you have files on your computer that no matter what you try you just can’t seem to delete. This can be very frustrating and a pain to deal with. Other websites will tell you all these complicated steps involving the command prompt and recovery console that half the time don’t work and in my opinion are a waste of time. Well have no fear because I am going to show you the steps to remove them from you computer.
So lets get started!
1. Always run a scan with your AV program and remove all virus’s. If you don’t have one I recommend AVG Free (make sure you turn off automatic scanning and schedule scans for after hours, scans will slow down your machine big time!)
2.Download and run Malwarebytes
3. Download Moveonboot
4. Install Moveonboot and choose to delete the file on boot
5. Thats It! No crazy dos commands or messing with permissions, just a couple easy steps and you all set.

Getting infected by spyware and viruses can be very frustrating and can cost lots of money to fix. In this article I will show you how to avoid these problems in the first place, and how to perform basic steps to clean your pc if you become infected.
The most important rule to follow is to watch where you go on the internet. Check links before you click them, and READ before you download anything from the internet! But we all know that in today’s world it is just a matter of time before you get infected. So what do you do when you get infected? Well I am glad you asked!
Always, always unplug your internet cable as soon as you think you are infected! Next you are going to want to perform a System Restore (Directions Here) What? Your system restore is not turned on?? Well, we will fix that later but for now we need to get Malwarebytes installed on that pc. How do I do that? Well, you need to download it from another pc from this link Malwarebytes and save it to a external drive or cd. Once you have it installed, just run it and your spyware should be cleaned. I recommend running the scan twice. If it’s clean, then plug your internet cable back in and surf away!!
In most cases these steps will have you fixed up and back on your way. If you did not have system restore on and had to clean the virus with malwarebytes, then I seriously recommend after you clean the virus to turn on system restore (Directions Here).
Sometimes Malwarebytes can not clean the infection, In that case a manual removal will be required. Please visit our Support page to contact us for help with manual removals
